VACANT Brad Walker:  After God called me into ministry, I served in college ministry (Campus Outreach and at CABC) for several years. I pursued theological education in Louisville at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary fast and furiously, while serving as an intern to the Dean of the School of Theology (Russell Moore) and as a student ambassador. In God’s kind providence, I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and altered my life course in order to figure out life with ms. After this, I served for a time as Assistant Director of Admissions at SBTS, as Student Pastor and Associate Pastor at Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church before serving at Trinity Baptist Church in Southaven, MS as Family Equipping Pastor. Some of my main passions are evangelism, discipleship, leadership and preaching God’s Word.

Brad and his wife, Elicia, are the proud parents of four sons, Will, Jackson, Benjamin and Jude. Brad and his boys enjoy playing any sport that contains a round ball.  brad@fbcsparta.org

Ken Bingemer Ken Bingemer joined our ministerial staff in February 2004 after serving 15 years in music ministry at various churches in Western Kentucky and Southern Indiana. He received his Diploma of Church Music (MCM) from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.

Ken and his wife, Angie, are the parents of Dustin, Jacob and Lindsey. He is active in the Tennessee Mens Chorale. He is also active in missions and has been to Panama (SBTS Vocal Ensemble) and Italy (TMC) on music missions, and Rio deJaneiro, Brazil on a medical missions trip. He has also served in Florida (Disaster Relief) , New York (bus driver on two youth mission trips to Jamaica Queens), and Montana (with the TMC).

Ken surrendered to a call to vocational ministry after a 15 year career in the aluminum die casting industry at Gibbs Die Casting Aluminum Corporation in Henderson, Kentucky. He now directs the Adult Praise Choir and Praise Ringers as well as oversees the 39ers and senior adult ministries. He is “intentionally congregational” in his worship leadership. ken@fbcsparta.org
