ELEMENTARY GRADES

Our Kid’s Klub keeps getting bigger and better!  Meeting each Wednesday evening, Klubbers have fun singing songs, learning the Bible and making new friends.  This energetic bunch of elementary students takes field trips, plays games and enjoys learning about God.  See Derek or Carol Bohannon for details.

NURSERY

A First Baptist Church, Sparta, we understand how important it is for you to know that your wee ones are taken care of.  That’s why we place a high priority on our nursery facility.  We carefully screen our nursery workers (many of whom are moms just like you!) and love our nursery babies and children like we do our own.  In the event we need a parent to come to the nursery during worship time, the electronic signal will be activated with your child’s “nursery number” to let you know.

AWANA

On Sunday nights at 5:00 PM, AWANA is the place to be for preschoolers through fifth-graders!  Cubbies, Sparks, Truth & Training are the age-appropriate segments of AWANA for preschoolers, kindergartners-second graders and third-fifth graders, respectively.  Each group participates in handbook time, council time, snack and game time, all with emphasis on scripture memorization.  It’s a fun approach to learning God’s Word!  AWANA follows the school calendar and a nursery is provided. VBS

Each year we are excited to have Vacation Bible School. Each year we see God's hand on this event and how he blesses each person involved. Check out all the things that took place at last years VBS.
